About Nicole

“Photography is about capturing souls, not smiles.”

 

Hi!  My name is Nicole Calore and my passion is capturing stories through frames! So many of our most amazing moments pass us by more quickly than we would like and, for me, photography is a way to always keep those memories close. It’s not only a way to re-live our most cherished celebrations but it’s also a way for us to continue to remember all of the beautiful people in our lives that help to create those memories. My offerings include, but are not limited to, Newborn and Maternity shoots, Family Portraits, Childhood Milestones, Professional Headshots.

 

My husband Larry and I share one son and three stepchildren. I am a grandmother of 6, a dog owner and a lover of all things nature. I also enjoy the arts and all types of music.

I found my love for photography early on in life. I worked with a photographer in the late 80’s studying portrait photography in addition to studying advertising photography. When the owner of the photography studio retired, I found myself in the dentistry world but always had a yearning to go back to photography. After the birth of my fifth grandchild, I found my love for newborn photography and maternity.

 

I decided to develop my passion by taking countless online classes. I took a fine art editing course in the Spring 2019 with the well-known children photographer Lisset Perrier, I was also fortunate enough to take several workshops mentored by Ana Brandt, a world-famous Newborn and Maternity Photographer from California. A few months later, I also attended a convention in New York City, taking several advanced classes taught by different photographers including, Cassey Dittmer, Michael Stief, Nikki Lenae and Paloma Shell and then in September 2019 took a maternity workshop with the famous photographer, Anja McDonald from Australia.  In October 2021 completed another maternity workshop with the amazing Diana Robles from Loveprint Photography.

I firmly believe in printing photographs so that your digitals do not end up lost up in the big sea of i-cloud or your computer. Your photographs will become beautiful pieces of fine art which will be treasured by your children and family for many generations.

 

In July of 2019, I completed my Certification for Newborn Safety. I believe firmly in both furthering my education and moreover, ensuring safety for your newborn!!!

I truly live for capturing the fleeting moments of a tiny human in the first stages of their life and giving all my clients a beautiful experience to hold on to all of the many precious moments of their lives. I very much look forward to working with you!
